How is Cortaditos Cuban Coffee & Eatery? Union City, New Jersey
Havana breezed Cortaditos is a new-generation coffee shop with various snacks and signature sandwiches from Cuba. Cortaditos is located at 4501 Park Avenue in Hudson County, Union City.
It was officially opened in November 2021, and it’s one of our favorite coffe&eatry around the neighborhood. Behind Cortaditos, there are two Cuban American entrepreneurs; Adam and Andres. Although they serve quality coffee in the area, they also have a wide variety of empanadas, sandwiches, and pastries. Also, they have fresh juices, such as oranges, carrots, and watermelons.
The best thing to eat here is a Cuban sandwich and Pan Con Bistec, which is so delicious. The prices are very affordable. We especially loved the Pan Con Bistec with crunchy potato chips inside, and the steak was also delicious. If we come here again probably, we’ll order Pan Con Bistec. Pan con Bistec is a Cuban-style steak sandwich. Empanadas are also worth trying. We loved the ham&cheese empanada most.
Also, we tried rice pudding. It was so lovely with cinnamon.
Cortaditos is open Monday through Saturday from 6 AM to 8 PM and Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM. Friendly atmosphere and a cute setup. Staff speaks Spanish, but they’ll feel you when you talk in English.
